During our initial site visit, we will collaborate with the homeowner to work out a custom system design that fits their needs. This includes discussing budget, areas of concern, property measurements, landscape/plant requirements, micro climate, and water supply/plumbing requirements.

After the initial visit, we will email you with a custom irrigation design and final price (typically 1-3 days).

Most of our estimates come in somewhere between $5,000-$8,000 depending on yard size and property characteristics.

Before any shovels hit the ground, we will have Alberta One Call flag out all utilities in the area to avoid any damages.

An Aquarius professional will plumb a new line and backflow preventer for your irrigation system to the outside if there is no pre-existing line.

The controller will be installed inside as well during this time and the wire will be ran outside with the irrigation pipe.

Once utilities have been flagged out, we will either plow or manually dig in the lines to each sprinkler head location and run it back to the main valve box location.

Lateral lines are buried 8”-10” deep, while the mainline will be buried 10”-12” deep.

Once all lines are installed, heads will be dug in and set to grade. After line and heads are installed any debris is flushed out to avoid future clogging of nozzles.

Valve box is also installed and set to grade in this step. Valves will be wired into controller and pressure tested.

Once all valves and heads are connected, we will turn the water on to flush out any dirt and debris that may have entered the lines during the installation process.

Varying nozzles will be installed on the sprinkler heads depending on the area they are located.

Once the system has been installed and meets our expectations, we will give you a tour and make sure it meets your expectations!

This includes a system walk through, tutorial on programming your controller, making minor head/nozzle adjustments, and future maintenance.
